3-Ply Unsteamed Beech Panels

3-ply unsteamed beech panels are made from Fagus sylvatica L., a wood species with high mechanical performance, used in professional furniture manufacturing and in the production of high-precision technical components.

The 3-ply laminated structure, with cross grain in the central layer, helps compensate for the naturally high internal tension and marked shrinkage of beech, ensuring dimensional stability and long-term reliability, even on large panels.

Beech is distinguished by its very fine texture and high hardness. With an average density of 730 kg/m³, it offers mechanical values above the average:

  • Axial compression strength: average value 61 MPa
  • Bending strength: average value 118 MPa
  • Modulus of elasticity: average value 14,700 MPa

High impact resistance and good elastic response make these panels particularly suitable for technical furniture, lightweight load-bearing structures, load-bearing elements and precision CNC machining.

The controlled moisture content (8% ± 2%) and bonding compliant with UNI EN 204 D3 ensure consistent workability and homogeneous surfaces, suitable for custom finishes.

Advantages of our panels

Dimensional
stability

Glued laminated structure made with carefully dried, selected and planed staves to ensure maximum stability for their intended use.

Ready
to use

the material is supplied calibrated and cut to size, ready to be used directly in production machinery for milling operations, or ideal for direct finishing with oil, lacquer or paint.

Cost
certainty

Dimensions and quantities are adapted to the customer’s needs, minimising waste and allowing accurate calculation of material costs and processing times.

Reliable
packaging

Each panel is individually shrink-wrapped to prevent damage and deformation caused by humidity variations.
